We’ve just been informed that THUNDER SOUL has won the Best Documentary award at the Pan African Film Festival in Los Angeles! It was a pleasure to be part of this festival, and the filmmakers are honored to receive this award.
Roadside Attractions, the U.S. theatrical distributor of Chris Rock’s Good Hair and The Cove (2009 Oscar winner for Best Documentary), will be releasing Thunder Soul in North America! Look for the movie coming soon to a theater near you in 2011!

Hollywood loves THUNDER SOUL! Film wins Audience Award at the L.A. Film Fest! -
Audiences have voted Thunder Soul as their favorite documentary feature at the 2010 Los Angeles Film Festival! On Saturday night, festival goers got to attend a screening of the film at the beautiful Ford Amphitheatre in Hollywood, followed by a performance by the Kashmere Reunion Stage Band.
